I would like to research and explore the direction that how these changes in technology are taking the graphic design industry and how those looking to break into the field are being impacted. In order for graphic design to be relevant in the future, we need to continue to adapt new trends in technology.

  • How new technologies and the need for websites to be be ‘mobile ready’ have impacted on web design?
  • How can websites provide a good user interface and user experience?
  • How can responsive website and native mobile app complement one another and round out a true mobile strategy?
  • To survive in the era of wearable technology, web design needs to be highly dynamic with strong emphasis on being interactive.  Is there a way or guideline for web designers should focus on making websites more engaging and interactive.
